Dress Fabric

This tactile waffle knit jersey has a great weight and texture perfect for any jersey projects and is definitely one of my favourite dress making fabrics of the moment. Available in a range of 4 lovely colours, this fabric is perfect for whipping up simple tops, dresses and trousers.

This lovely fabric is polyviscose. Its composition gives its a light, soft and floaty feel which will make it easy to sew and beautiful to wear, perfect for most dressmaking projects.

Double Gauze is a lovely lightweight pure cotton fabric with a relatively loosely weave and a crinkled natural texture making it exceptionally breathable with a gorgeous soft handle. As the name suggests the fabric is made up of 2 layers of fine cotton similar to a lioght cheese cloth or muslin that are tacked together. The double layer reduces the transparency of the cloth and gives it a thicker more tactile finish. Our cloth is  126gsm and  Oeko-Tex Standard, ideal for clothes, childrens/baby items, quilts etc.

Ponte Roma is a thick jersey fabric constructed using a double knit technique to create a sturdy stretch fabric suitable for dressmaking & craft. Free samples available.

Super soft bamboo terry towelling suitable for towels, dressing gowns and baby products.

Bamboo fibres are more environmentally friendly than many alternatives used to make towelling. It is also more absorbent and dries quicker than similar cotton towelling. One more added benefit is that bamboo is natural anti microbial.

Stunning printed velvet suitable for curtains, soft furnishings and upholstery. This fabric has such a lovely soft handle it could also be used for dressmaking.

This is a new superior quality of water proof fabric. Not only is the Fabric waterproof but the face of the fabric, which has a lovely soft touch is water repellent to.

The soft drapey handle of this fabric makes it extremely easy to sew, even with a basic machine. Its texture not only lends itself to furnishing but makes it fabulous for dress making to!

Check out how the water sits on the surface and is extremely easy to brush/wipe off! As always Free samples are available.
