Boiled wool gets its name from the production technique used to produce the fabric. It is easy to sew as it will not move around and does not fray,. 

We would recommend using boiled wool to make coats and jackets but it can also be used to make skirts and structured dresses. This is a fairly heavy weight boiled wool so we would recommend having a free sample to see if it is suitable for your project.
