Ramie is a fantastic eco-friendly cloth which behaves very similarily to linen. It is made from nettles and therefore is a sustainble option as they are easy to grow without the use of chemicals. As ramie shares so many qualities with linen, including a lovely handle and soft drape it can be an ideal choice for curtains and other soft furnishings projects. 

Ramie is an extremely strong fibe and is also breathable and highly absorbant making it the perfect cloth for dressmaking. With a weight of 255gsm it is the perfect mid weisght cloth for trousers, dresses, shirts and more!

100% Cotton Muslin, fine-woven from cotton and bleached or unbleached, In very hot climates, muslin can be used as an apparel material because of its light, breathable nature. Also used as a mock-up fabric for the seamstress or amateur fashion designer. It also has uses in theatre and studio photography, cooking and medicine. Muslin is also applied to the back of curtains or soft drapes/ Voiles to help give them form and preserve privacy. Also perfect for use in cookery for straining etc.

Our bamboo towelling has always been an extremley popular product. Bamboo fibres are more absorbant than cotton and also dry quicker. This towelling has one side that is plush with super soft fibres and the other side appears more like a traditional towelling but on both sides you can really feel the quality.
