The fabric has been produced as part of the BCI or better cotton initiative. This is is a global not-for-profit organisation and the largest cotton sustainability programme in the world. BCI exists to make global cotton production better for the people who produce it, better for the environment it grows in and better for the sector’s future.

Part of the Sustainable Plains collection by iLIv, 1m of this fabric is equivalent to 16 x 500ml plastic bottles. It has a lovely brushed finish and a super soft handle making it perfect for curtains and soft furnishings but with a rub test of 40,000 martindale rubs it is hard wearing enough for the toughest upholstery job. 

Choosing a recycled polyester fabric can help to reduce our environmental impact by decreasing the amount of plastic ending up in the oceans and landfill.
