Chiffon is a lightweight and sheer fabric, which gives a transparent appearance. Typically made from cotton, nylon, polyester or silk, chiffon has a very soft and fluid feel to it. With it's soft drape, this fabric can be use it for dresses, blouses, scarves and other types of clothing, but the best part about chiffon fabric is that it comes in a variety of colours and prints. Garments made from Chiffon should preferably be hand-washed or slow short machine washed with extra care so that the fabric does not get frayed. We also recommended that you wash any items on their own for he first few washes to avoid any colours from running.
