Fits to consider:
Recess
A recess window is one that is set back from the wall. Sitting a blind within this space results in a neat finish. However, you will lose some light as the blind will cover approximately 30cm at the top of the window.
When making a blind to fit within a recess we will deduct 1cm off the width to ensure it fits perfectly. Please provide us with the exact size of the recess and we will do the rest. It is important particularly in older properties to measure the height and width in three positions within the recess just in case there are any changes across the window.
Exact
If you would like your blind to sit outside or a recess or if you have a blind to replace and you would like us to make it to the same size this is the option for you. The sizes you provide us with are the exact size your finished blind will measure.
When measuring up for an exact fit blind we would recommend adding at least 15cm to the width and length to minimise as much external light as possible. Remember even when pulled up your blind will measure approximately 30cm in length.
All our blinds are fitted with a chain lift system which can be attached to either side of your blind. The chains are available in a variety of colours.

- Always use a metal tape measure.
- Measure the width and the drop in 3 different positions, then provide us with the smallest measurement.
- We will make any necessary deductions.

- Decide how much you wish to overlap the window at each side.
- We recommend adding at least 15cm to the width and length to minimise as much external light as possible.
