Dress Fabric

Double Gauze is a lovely lightweight pure cotton fabric with a relatively loosely weave and a crinkled natural texture making it exceptionally breathable with a gorgeous soft handle.

As the name suggests the fabric is made up of 2 layers of fine cotton similar to a light cheese cloth or muslin that are tacked together. The double layer reduces the transparency of the cloth and gives it a thicker more tactile finish. Our cloth is 125gsm and ideal for clothes, childrens/baby items, quilts etc.

This linen mix fabric is perfect for a variety for dressmaking projects as well as lightweight curtains. The fun design is printed on to a lovely soft drape base cloth perfect for dresses, blouses and skirts. By mixing linen and viscose together you get a luxuriously soft, drapey, absorbent, breathable and extremely comfortable fabric.

One of the best known characterisitics  of this fabric, is it's ability to retain warmth and preserve heat. Making this gorgeous Sheep sherpa cuddle fur is very much on trend at the moment especially for outdoor/ hiking clothing. It's soft fur finish makes it suitable for snoods, hats, throws and cushions. It is also suitable for other dressmaking, craft or soft furnishing projects.

This Matisse inspired tapestry fabric is a perfect weight for interior projects such as curtains, soft furnishings and light upholstery. It has metallic gold yarn woven throughout its design to emphasise the yellow patterns within the fabric. These woven designs are also popular for some fashion projects such as bags and jackets.
