This lovely soft loop back jersey is made from modal fibre. Modal is a natural fibre which is derived from beech tree cellulose and is considered an eco-friendly alternative to other fibres. It has an almost silky handle and a lovely soft drape making it great for clothing such as wrap dresses.

Interlock jersey is a fab sturdy weight, as well as having a soft and comfortable feel. It is a great jersey to sew with as it isn't overly stretchy it won't distort whilst sewn.

It is a heavier weight than a lawn but more luxurious than your standard crafting cotton with its soft/smooth surface and 121gsm weight. Cotton poplin is lovely to sew with and holds its shape beautifully in garmets with gathers, pleats or puff sleeves for example.
