This recycled cotton mix from our 'Eco Range' meets the Global recycled standard. Using 100% recycled fibres this fabric is made up of 87% cotton from recycling existing fabric/garments and cutting it back to cotton fibres and 13% polyester where the fibre is created from melting down plastic bottles to make the yarn.

Per Metre this fabric recycles 4 plastic bottles into polyester fibres and saves a significant amount of water and energy by using reworked fibres.

The fabric has a textured linen look finish and is perfect for curtains and home interiors projects.

Part of the Sustainable Plains collection by iLIv, 1m of this fabric is equivalent to 33 x 500ml plastic bottles. It has a lovely textured finish giving it the appearance of natural fibres. Perfect for curtains and soft furnishings but with a rub test of 30,000 martindale rubs it is also hard wearing enough for upholstery.
