How To Make Piping Cord

Piping cord adds a beautiful finishing touch to soft furnishing items whether you opt for a co-ordinating colour or a contrast. This simple tutorial teaches how to make your own piping cord so before you know it you will be making piping to edge all your sewing projects! Top Tip: Cutting you fabric on the bias (on the diagonal) makes going around corners with piping easier as it allows the fabric to give. It also givers a neater more professional finish.
