How do I make my curtains blackout?

Whether it is sunlight or street lights that are disturbing you we can help!

Adding a blackout lining to your curtains makes a dramatic difference in the battle to block out external light. Not only that, our three pass black out lining also helps with insulation and it resists water to help protect your curtains from damp windows and condensation. Blackout lining is a popular choice for bedrooms and is fantastic for nurseries or those who work night shifts. Gone are the days when using a black out lining meant sacrificing the look of your curtains. It is now made from extremely fine threads and has a lovely soft handle so it drapes perfectly.

How to use black out lining.

Black out linings can be sewn into a curtain like any other lining. You just need to remember to face the fabric side to the window and the coated side to the fabric. Alternatively you can also make a loose lining for existing curtains.
